Using Lander
Account and sign-in
You sign in to Reddit on Reddit's own login page, shown inside the app, so your password goes to Reddit and not to Lander. A Reddit account is required to use the app.

- The privacy page reflects the current app privacy position.
Privacy
Lander is built private by design: no ads, no trackers, and your credentials kept on your device. The full details are on the privacy page.

Operator-blind networking
Columbia is the open-source, operator-blind proxy we developed and published; in the app it is an opt-in for anonymous reading. You can read the source, run it, or self-host the whole path — the full story is at landerapp.xyz/columbia.
Themes and reading
Twenty-two hand-tuned themes, gesture-driven browsing, full-screen media, and a true multi-column layout on iPad. Most look-and-feel choices live in Settings — and every theme is on this site, wearable.
Gestures
Swipe behavior is configurable and continues to be refined. If a gesture feels inconsistent, check the exact screen and direction where it happens.
