A fast, native client for iPhone and iPad. Your session is stored in Keychain, public reads can use the Columbia relay, and you control diagnostics in Settings. No ads. No advertising tracking.

The stance

Lander stores your session securely, keeps advertising trackers out of the app, and explains the network and diagnostic choices that affect your privacy.
Your session is stored securely
You sign in on Reddit's own page, and your session is stored in Keychain. Your password is not collected by Lander. Optional account routing has a separate gateway trust tradeoff, explained in the privacy policy.
No ads or advertising tracking
No advertising identifier or browsing-history analytics. Optional crash reports and limited usage events use a random installation identifier. You can turn diagnostics off in Settings.
A private browsing relay you control
Columbia is enabled by default for supported public reads and can fall back to a direct connection. Manage it in Settings, or read how routing and operator trust work below.
Columbia
Your address and request take separate paths.
Columbia encrypts public-read requests through a relay to a gateway. The relay sees your address but not the request; the gateway reads the request without receiving your address from the relay. Lander currently operates both services, so this is not a claim of independent operators or protection from all traffic correlation.
Auditable. The proxy source is available under the PolyForm Noncommercial license. Read it or self-host it for permitted uses.
Encrypted to the gateway. Oblivious HTTP and HPKE keep request content hidden from the relay.
Clear trust boundaries. Independent, non-colluding operators provide a stronger split than two services run by one operator.
Public-read routing is on by default. On iPhone and iPad, you can turn it off in Settings. Reads may fall back to direct access. Signed-in requests normally go direct; the separate iPhone and iPad option “Route my account too” exposes your session credential and request content to the gateway.
