In short
Lander does not collect, track, sell, or profile your personal information.
Your Reddit browsing stays on your device except where the app must talk directly to Reddit's API,
your iCloud account, or an optional crash reporting flow that you explicitly enable.
What Lander does not collect
- Personal information such as name, email, or phone number.
- Browsing history or reading habits for analytics or advertising.
- Location data or advertising identifiers.
- Your Reddit password.
What stays on your device
- OAuth tokens stored securely in iOS Keychain for Reddit authentication.
- App preferences such as themes, gestures, and settings.
- Temporary image and media cache used to speed up browsing.
- Optional iCloud-backed settings sync if you enable it.
Optional data collection
Anonymous crash reports are opt-in only. If you do not enable them, they are not sent.
Third-party services
Reddit API
Lander uses Reddit's official API. You authenticate directly with Reddit through OAuth, your Reddit activity
remains subject to Reddit's policies, and Lander does not see your Reddit password.
iCloud
If you enable settings sync, that data is stored in your personal iCloud account. It is encrypted by Apple
and not accessible to Lander.
Network security
Network requests use HTTPS, and OAuth tokens are stored in iOS Keychain.
Data sharing and control
Lander does not sell, share, or transfer your data to third parties for marketing or profiling.
- You can clear cache or remove the app to delete locally stored data.
- You control optional features such as crash reporting and iCloud sync.
- Biometric lock is available as an extra local protection layer.
Age and regional notes
Lander is rated 17+ because Reddit contains user-generated content. Since Lander does not collect personal
information, privacy law obligations are limited mainly to the services you choose to use through Reddit and Apple.
